Using Bridge to Issue a VCC

Users can create a virtual card from our Bridge portal. Some things to keep in mind:

Users must have the approval to create virtual cards and be set up appropriately
Issuance limits can be placed on users to limit the total amount they can apply to an individual virtual card or to limit the total amount they can issue per day (where a day is a 24-hour period running from 12:00 AM ET to 11:59 PM ET)

Most settings are configurable at the user-level. For example, you may want user ‘A' to be limited to only issuing virtual cards for $500 or less while user 'B’ can create virtual cards for any amount.

You may want one user who can only issue up to $20,000 in a given 24-hour period, and another user who can issue up to $50,000.

You can apply both limits, or just one or the other.

If no specific limits are indicated, no limits will be applied.

ConnexPay Pro Clients

For our Pro clients who do both acquiring and issuing, you will need to create a sale first, then select the ‘Issue Purchase’ button for that sale. Upon choosing your payment method, you will be taken to the Issue Purchase modal where you can enter the customer and payment information:

Make sure all required fields are populated and either select ‘Create Virtual/Physical/ACH Payment /Lodged Card’ or ‘Create Another' if you need to create a second virtual card for this order.
