Blacklisted Countries of VCC Acceptance

Unfortunately, not all countries accept Virtual Cards. The list at the bottom of this page displays all blacklisted countries - any merchant suppliers attempting to process our Virtual Cards within these countries will be declined. Please understand this is out of ConnexPay's control. Blacklisting is done via a combination of OFAC and Bank restrictions.

You can see that a transaction was declined based on the country of acceptance when you view the VCC transaction history. You’ll see “Transactions not allowed from this country” (example below).

NOTE:

Issuing the Global VCC product will not solve this and allow the VCC to be approved - it would still be declined at one of these countries.

Currently, geographic sanctions have been imposed across various jurisdictions including:

• Cuba
• Iran
• Democratic People's Republic of Korea (North Korea)
• Russia
• Sudan - Darfur region
• Syria
• Ukraine regions of Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk
